“I’ve always wanted to be a beauty Queen.”
This was one of the statements made by the very graceful Queen June during her interview by Sun newspapers for their Saturday Sun edition. During the interview, June, outgoing Miss Anambra Universe talked about growing up, her year as Miss Anambra Universe and her pet project.
Let me tell you just a little bit about Queen June, as someone who works closely with her.

Let me tell you just a little bit about Queen June, as someone who works closely with her.
June who I fondly call ‘Ada Nnewi’ because she’s very proud of her roots, is very graceful. She carries herself like the true Queen that she is. And she’s definitely not new to Pageantry. Before she became Miss Anambra, she won the Students’ Union Government (SUG) pageantry of our dear College of Health Sciences, Nnamdi Azikiwe University and has since judged so many beauty contests.
Queen June (Nwokedike Adaobi June) is an Anatomy student here at the College in Nnewi and I work with her on the Board of ROTARACT Club of Nnamdi Azikiwe University Teaching Hospital (NAUTH). She serves the club as the Vice President and honestly, there could be no better vice president. She has received so many awards at the club for her tireless service to humanity.
She’s presently at the ROTARACT’s Peace and Conflict Resolution seminar holding in Port Harcourt, with some club executives.

Well done ‘Ada Nnewi’, Queen June. Keep doing what you’re doing.
